All racks support triple modular redundancy to ensure high reliability (failure rate less than 10⁻⁹). Hot-swappable for easy maintenance and expansion. The main rack (e.g., TRICON 8100-8) integrates the main processor (TMR architecture, such as 3004/3005), redundant power supplies (8302A 230VAC/8301A 24VDC), communication modules (e.g., 4119 EICM), and basic I/O modules, forming the system’s “brain” and “nerve center.” Expansion racks (e.g., 8101/8102) connect to the main rack via RS-485 or fiber optics, supporting a network of up to 15 racks. Each rack can accommodate 8-16 I/O modules (e.g., 3503E digital input, 3700A analog input), meeting the access needs of large-scale field devices (such as valves and sensors). Remote racks (e.g., 8106) achieve remote expansion up to 12km via fiber optics, adapting to distributed scenarios such as ports and metallurgy, reducing field cabling costs and improving system anti-interference capabilities. It achieves full-scenario coverage from core control to edge expansion. Its core function is to build a highly reliable, highly secure, and easily expandable industrial control system to meet the stringent requirements of key industries for process safety, production efficiency, and system flexibility.
