ArmorBlock 5000 ™ On Machine ™ I/O modules help manufacturers enhance automation efficiency and interconnection capabilities, create more intelligent machines, and empower enterprises to achieve the value of increasing revenue and reducing costs

Recently, Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK), one of the world’s leading enterprises in the field of industrial automation, informatization and Digital transformation, launched the new Allen Bradley ® ArmorBlock 5000 ™ I/O module. This distributed I/O solution with built-in IO Link technology can provide a series of intelligent features to help industrial manufacturers reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Through the ArmorBlock 5000 I/O solution, manufacturers can more efficiently deploy and maintain intelligent automation systems. The highly integrated IO Link function can simplify device configuration, achieve optimized integration with Allen Bradley controllers, and ultimately reduce the complexity of machine design. In the intuitive and easy to understand Studio 5000 Logix Designer ® In the environment, users can use a universal tag structure and configure workflows to accelerate project development speed.

The high-performance ArmorBlock 5000 I/O module is optimized for On Machine applications, helping to accelerate installation, debugging, and troubleshooting, and reduce downtime. The I/O module is suitable for a wide temperature range and can provide up to IP69K protection level for high-speed applications in harsh working conditions. In addition, this module has three industrial standard power supply models to choose from, which can meet the needs of different regions.

The IO Link main module was the first to be released in the ArmorBlock 5000 I/O series products. These scalable modules provide up to 8 IO Link channels, each containing 4 IO Link Class A ports and 4 IO Link Class B ports, providing extremely strong flexibility. They can control high current devices and improve interconnectivity, thereby helping to improve machine performance and productivity.

Rockwell Automation also plans to release more products to expand the ArmorBlock 5000 I/O solution product line. Among them, the recently launched configurable I/O module can provide intelligent features such as sequential event recording (SOE), predetermined output, input timestamp, and event trigger.

Nowadays, the development of the manufacturing industry is becoming increasingly complex, and our customers face numerous challenges that require improving operational flexibility while maintaining efficiency. More intelligent technology is a key factor in optimizing enterprise visibility, helping customers make data-driven decisions in a timely manner Sean Homan, Business Director of Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Business Center, said, “We are committed to providing innovative solutions to meet customers’ constantly changing needs, and ArmorBlock 5000 I/O is a good example. This On Machine I/O solution provides distributed monitoring and control capabilities, as well as highly integrated IO Link functionality, which can significantly improve the agility of industrial automation production
