The A6500-RC is a 16-channel relay output module designed for the AMS 6500 ATG machinery protection system. Compliant with the API 670 standard, it is a 3U-sized module that occupies two rack slots and supports hot-swapping. The A6500-RC handles logic voting for protection signals from multiple measurement points and provides hard-wired relay outputs. It operates in conjunction with the A6500-UM universal measurement module to facilitate machinery protection interlocking for combined-cycle gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and large compressors.
