The EPRO PR6423/002-040 is an industrial-grade dual-channel bearing vibration monitoring module developed by Emerson Process Management (formerly EPRO Germany). It is specifically designed for condition monitoring and protection systems of rotating machinery (such as steam turbines, compressors, fans, gearboxes, etc.). As a core component of the MMS 6000 series, it uses an electric speed sensor to collect bearing vibration signals in real time, achieving high-precision, high-reliability vibration parameter analysis and alarm triggering. It is widely used in key industrial fields such as power, petrochemical, and metallurgy.
Core Functions and Working Principle
Dual-channel independent measurement: The module contains two completely independent measurement channels, allowing simultaneous real-time monitoring of two monitoring points.
Sensor Compatibility: Primarily used with motorized speed sensors (such as the PR9268 series) to measure the absolute vibration velocity or displacement of bearing housings.
Operating Status Monitoring: Real-time comparison with set alarm limits; if vibration exceeds the limit, an alarm or shutdown protection signal will be triggered to prevent major mechanical accidents.

Function Description
Alarm Value/Danger Value: Independently set for each channel, rising edge triggered
Alarm Hysteresis: Full scale 1% ~ 10% Selectable, falling edge triggered, prevents repeated jumps near the limit
Limit Multiplier: Multiplication factor X = 1.00 ~ 5.00, used to avoid false alarms when exceeding critical speed (requires d18 = low level)
Alarm Retention: Alarm state is retained, requires software to send a Reset latch to channel 1/2 Command Reset
Channel Fault Detection: Automatic detection and indication of sensor short circuit/open circuit, input over-limit, overload, etc.
Self-Test and Diagnostic Functions

Password Protection (Operator Level)
RS-232/RS-485 Communication Port: Supports on-site configuration, parameter setting, measurement value reading, and spectrum analysis
