  Function Description:

IS230TBAIH2C is an analog I/O terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI series used in GE Speedtronic gas turbine control systems. Supports 10 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs for analog input/output (TBAI) terminal boards. Two wire, three wire, four wire, or transmitters with external power supply can be connected to 10 analog inputs. The analog output can provide current settings of 0-20 mA or 0-200 mA. To prevent surges and high-frequency noise, the input and output contain noise suppression circuits. To connect to the I/O processor, TBAI has built-in three DC-37-pin connectors within the device. Using a single connector, supports simplex applications (JR1). All three connectors are capable of supporting TMR applications.

Each 24 V DC power output can continuously provide 21 mA current and prevent short circuits during operation. The transmitter and sensor can be powered separately or by a 24V DC power supply in the control system. The current output type is selected by the jumper JO. The diagnostic function will closely monitor each output. If the fault cannot be repaired through CPU commands, the suicide relay in the I/O controller will disconnect the relevant output.

  Configuration:

The terminal board is configured with jumpers. Please refer to the installation diagram for the location of these jumpers. The jumper selection is as follows:

Jumpers J1A to J8A can be used to select current input or voltage input.

Whether the circuit is connected to the common terminal or remains open is determined by the routing jumper J1B to J8B.

Use jumper J9A and J10A to select input current between 1 mA and 20 mA.

Whether the circuit is connected to the common terminal or remains open depends on the routing jumpers J9B and J10B.

Adjust output 1 to 20 mA or 200 mA through jumper J0.
