Process Gas Chromatograph PGC5000A Second Generation Main Controller
The second-generation PGC5000A main controller provides all analyzer system control functions and coordinates the internal and external data activities of the PGC5000B, PGC5000C, PGC5007, and PGC5009 Intelligent Oven™. The analyzer and control system communicate via intrinsically safe (IS) fiber optic (with redundant Ethernet), Modbus, or Modbus RTU.
The PGC5000A features a 10-inch SVGA touchscreen supporting multi-touch and a human-machine interface (HMI).
Simple label layout for easy use
Universal touchscreen
Intrinsically safe fiber optic connection for multiple smart ovens
Redundant Ethernet ports for secure data transmission
Standard USB port for easy system updates
Direct MODBUS communication
Comprehensive I/O options
The second-generation PGC5000A main controller features a new graphical user interface and a fully functional touchscreen. Developing, editing, and storing analytical methods is effortless; programming is a thing of the past. Access any analyzer function with a simple “click.” All major analyzer functions are presented in tabs for quick access to the information needed.
The PGC5000 Integrated Controller integrates the core functionality of the PGC5000A main controller into the PGC5000B or PGC5000C smart oven.
Features:
End users can use existing networks within the shelter to communicate with the process gas chromatograph via a standard PC, industrial panel PC, or the main controller.
Wireless communication is achieved by adding wireless access point devices (such as MOXA devices).
Benefits:
Cost savings (SIU, EPC, and end user)
– Reduced shelter footprint
– Reduced HVAC capacity
– Optimized oven installation
Reduced analyzer costs
