  Product Description

VMIVME-2540 is developed and produced by the General Electric Industrial Automation Production Series. These models were subsequently purchased by Abaco Systems. This series is known as VMIC/GE Fanuc boards, designed specifically for various applications in industrial production lines, such as CPU management and input and output communication.

VMIVME-2540 is one of the specific modules of the VMIC/GE Fanuc board, equipped with the function of running as an intelligent counter controller. This device can count up to 4 gigabit events. It is equipped with a series of 24 discrete output channels that can be programmed through various onboard jumper module options. These jumpers can function at a wide range of extreme voltage levels. Intended to provide high-precision digital measurement and function generation capabilities for VMEbus systems through a simple and consistent memory mapping user interface.

24 output channels are designed to provide 12 bit resolution. They can provide and absorb up to 10 milliamperes of current at a rate of+/-10 V.

  The characteristics are as follows:

Counting capability: This device can calculate up to 4 Giga events, demonstrating its powerful data processing capabilities.

Computing power: This device has powerful computing power, capable of computing up to 4 Giga events, making it very useful in systems that require processing large amounts of data or events.

Output channels: It is equipped with 24 discrete output channels, which can be programmed through various onboard jumper module options. These jumpers can operate at a wide range of extreme voltage levels.

Analog Input: For offline testing, analog inputs are designed to be disconnected from external circuits, making testing and calibration easier without interfering with the actual system

Resolution and current: The 24 output channels are designed to provide 12 bit resolution and can provide and absorb up to 10 milliamperes of current at a rate of+/-10 V.

Offline testing: In order to conduct offline testing, the analog input is designed to be disconnected from external circuits.

Signal measurement and generation: This module is designed with a VMEbus slave interface, which can provide digital signal measurement and signal generation capabilities for 4, 8, 16, or 24 channels. These measurement and signal output functions are composed of a series of integrated system timing controllers and a series of related interface logic applications.

Integrated system timing controller: In order to optimize performance and reliability, this module uses a series of integrated system timing controllers and related interface logic applications. These components work together to ensure accurate data transmission and stable system operation.

In order to use VMIVME-2540 for offline testing, the analog input is designed to be disconnected from external circuits.
