On March 19th, Emerson and Xi’an University of Technology jointly held the unveiling ceremony of “Building an Intelligent Control System Laboratory”. Yan Li, Vice President of Xi’an University of Technology, Gao Song, Dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering, Guo Yong, Vice President of Emerson China and General Manager of Emerson Technology Resources (Xi’an) Co., Ltd., Cheng Yan, Vice President of Emerson China Human Resources, and other project teams jointly attended the event. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as school enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry, academia, and research, aiming to help build a bridge for communication, exchange, learning, and practice between schools and enterprises.

Emerson and Xi’an University of Technology have been engaged in in-depth school enterprise cooperation since 2019, and established the laboratory in 2021 with the aim of vigorously developing higher education and cultivating innovative applied talents for enterprises and society. The laboratory adopts Emerson’s advanced DeltaV digital automation system and innovative electronic wiring technology, while utilizing digital twins to connect with digital transformation and meet the needs of school experimental teaching.

In 2019, Xi’an University of Technology focused on national development strategies, aligned with industrial development needs, and reached a school enterprise cooperation framework agreement with Emerson.
