The PM891K01 3BSE053240R1 AC 800M Controllers features a PM891 processor and a TP830 terminal block. It utilizes the MPC8270 industrial processor (450MHz clock speed), VxWorks real-time operating system, a minimum control cycle of 1ms, and supports up to 5000 I/O points and 1000 PID loops per controller. It performs 1000 Boolean logic operations in just 0.043ms and supports 32 parallel control tasks. It has 256MB of RAM and 512MB of onboard Flash. A standard SD card slot is included for program backup/offline download. It lacks a built-in backup battery, relying on external power for clock operation. It features redundant control ports supporting the RNRP redundancy protocol for communication between the 800xA host and controllers. A fiber optic I/O bus allows for up to 7 S800 I/O clusters, each with up to 12 I/O modules, enabling remote distributed I/O expansion.
