The MOTOROLA VME embedded controller MVME172-533 features an Ethernet transceiver interface with 32-bit local bus DMA, supporting high-speed network communications. It also features two EIA-232-D serial ports for compatibility with legacy industrial equipment. Four IndustryPack ports support modular expansion and support real-time operating systems such as VxWorks to meet real-time control requirements.
