The maximum speed of the linear guide rail can reach 10 meters per second, almost equivalent to the world record level of less than 9.6 seconds in the current 100 meter sprint.
The new high-speed slider is a supplement to the existing 15 to 35 specification products, which can move larger loads at twice the speed of the standard style. Larger specifications achieve higher load-bearing capacity, which means longer maintenance intervals and longer service life of the entire system.
The development of new large-sized products is based on Bosch Rexroth’s years of experience in small high-speed products. Thanks to technical support, the maximum speeds of 45, 55, and 65 specification products can reach 10, 7.5, and 5 meters per second under high load conditions, respectively.
The new high-speed slider helps users in multiple fields to improve production efficiency and reduce costs through process acceleration. The typical application areas of the new product include: feed and remove shafts for plastic injection molding machines and presses, collision testing equipment, high load rapid handling devices, and applications with crank drive or linear motors.
