The IS215WETAH1CA-IS200WETAH1AG is a WETA Wide-Range Enhanced Trip Analog Rack Local Controller/Communication Gateway for the GE Vernova Speedtronic Mark VIe platform. Designed for remote I/O cabinets located at the gas turbine unit, it supports TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) architecture and handles local signal acquisition, local preprocessing, real-time Ethernet communication, rack backplane management, and local hardware trip protection. The module performs internal signal isolation, hardware filtering, A/D conversion, and signal quality diagnostics—detecting open circuits, short circuits, and over-range conditions—while outputting signal quality status bits. It acquires signals from various sensors on the gas turbine unit, including thermocouple/RTD-based exhaust and inter-stage temperatures; 4–20 mA signals for oil pressure, fuel pressure, and vibration; speed probe pulse signals; and discrete inputs (DI) such as valve limit switches, local emergency stops, auxiliary equipment status, and flame detection contacts.
